The Cedar Point full Rev is an outside possibility for my first full iron distance race... I'll see how training falls in place. |

Expert 1244 | Subject: RE: What's on tap for 2014 Well my schedule is much lighter in regards to races; Registered: Ross Trifit Challenge June 22 Thinking of registering: MingoMan August 17th Columbus International also August 17th I would like to try to get something in early May on the board but have not found anything yet. We are expecting a baby the first week of June, so I do not want to register for an event that is very expensive in case I have to bail on it if my wife goes into labor. |

I've done it in the past. It is a unique distance: sprint swim, 17 mile bike, 5k run. Big race for corporate challenges and the like. Flat, fast course. You could walk the swim if you must.... any specific questions? |

You could walk the swim if you must.... any specific questions? :-) Just curious and wondering what others thought of it. It is scheduled to be my 1st tri. I'd rather do the TriFit for my 1st, but we have had a vacation planned for that date for quite a while and it is too late to change those plans. and to go w/ the topic of this thread, so far I scheduled: 5/3/14 Cap City 1/4 Marathon 6/8/14 Wendy's Triathlon 7/26/14 Commit to be Fit Sprint Another sprint TBD in late Aug/early Sept 10/19/14 Columbus 1/2 (hopefully) Marathon |
