Subject: U Verse and TV Sound

 

Any other Bters out there with U-Verse? I have an issue where my sound quit working out of the blue. One minute it was fine, the next nothing. the TV is less than a year old (Sanyo model). I ran the troubleshooting app from the receiver and no sound was one of the options it says it could trouble shoot, which makes me believe I am not the first to have this happen. Anyways U-Verse is sending me a new receiver overnight to get me back on track.

 

Anyone else have this issue? Other than this, I have no issues with U-Verse

I had the same problem a few years ago.  I googled it up and found out how to change the settings regarding how the volume was controlled.  I can't remember the fix but it is out there.

Tried that with no luck. I am afraid it is my TV, which is not that old, mmaybe a little over a year maybe!  I am not going to buy another TV, maybe this is a sign that I need to dump cable TV...
