Swim
Comments: Felt really strong for the first half of the swim. the rest of the swim was rough. some jerk swam over me about 100 meters from the line and almost drowned me. This is definitely my worst event. Transition 1
Comments: my best one yet! i have got this down What would you do differently?: nothing Bike
Comments: My fastest race pace to date. I was really sapped from the swim early on and had trouble catching my breath at the beginning. I think i can push this harder but i am happy with my progress thus far. Last year at this race i averaged about 17 mph over the course. What would you do differently?: Swim better so i could push harder at the beginning Transition 2
Comments: EASY What would you do differently?: Nothing Run
Comments: Again this is my strongest event and where i make up the most time. Felt strong the whole time and left it all out on the course which makes me happy. What would you do differently?: Swim better Post race
Warm down: Walk around and drink Gatorade What limited your ability to perform faster: SWIM!! Event comments: LONG LONG wait for transition area to reopen but that is not the RD's fault. i love this race and will do it every chance i get. Last updated: 2006-06-12 12:00 AM

Slept horribly the night before. i always am so pumped up that i cant sleep
4:30--PB&J and a banana
5:30--arrived at race site and set up transition area, drink Gatorade Endurance
6:30--1/2 mile jog,
1/2 mile job, it was very hot so i was sweating a lot
