A couple of days of easy biking and swimming.

My fastest swim ever. Still felt that I could have used better technique and reverted back to my clumsy but comfortable stroke.
What would you do differently?:

Focus on my technique more. Try and be more aggressive at start.

Spent some extra time trying to get the sand off my feet. Took my time to get ready.

Needed to reapply sun screen at this point.

Needed to have a snack or two in my transition bag to fuel up after the bike.

Eat two slices of pizza. Free massage. Drank lots of water and gatorade.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Having enough food. Proper training.

Event comments:

Volunteers amazing! Food selection on course was not very good. Needed an energy bar at each station.

I will be 20 this summer and am planning on doing Ironman Montreal. This will be my first year of triathlon, can I do this and stay away from injuries?

During the race there will be plenty of opportunities to exchange bottles, so I'm thinking about going with the aero bottle and Gatorade bottle and fill up as necessary. What should I do?
