What would you do differently?: Need to better rounding bouys and navigating. Greater than 90 degree turn to get around bouy and I did not make it either turn. Transition 1
Comments: Run to mount area, stop mount and go. What would you do differently?: nothing Bike
Comments: Great ride for me. Powered up hills, probably passed 40 folks out there. Rode hard downhills as well. Good in the corners, but hills were pretty tough. Felt like I had drank too much and had to pee, but never stopped to do so. Transition 2
Comments: Fiddled with shoe laces. Need to try those "quik" things. Big shot of GU and on the road. What would you do differently?: nothing...quik lace ups. Run
Comments: Couldn't get the legs moving. Not a problem bike to run, just kind of dead legs. Rode too hard day before and during race. What would you do differently?: Train harder. Post race
Warm down: Walked around and had some bbq. What limited your ability to perform faster: Did not train hard enough. Just doing an Ironman 6 weeks early does not mean you are in "peak" physical condition. Last updated: 2006-06-29 12:00 AM
