Extreme Veteran ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() I know it was a Christmas Countdown but I wanted to carry mine through the hoIidays because that week between Christmas and New Years can be problematic. I only lost half of what I wanted to, but I am going to call this a success anyway. I have managed to lose 12.6 pounds DESPITE THE HOLIDAYS! October 8, 2014 ~ 379.2 January 1, 2015 ~ 366.6 And THAT is with not being able to workout because of the sprained knee. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Congrats to Mike and everyone else who made progress whether the goal was made, progress is progress. That being said... I'm riding the fail train right now. I ended the year at 257.5 which puts me down 2.5 for the year. Other than my weight, the year was actually a huge success. I'm definitely healthier and both my BP and Diabetes meds were cut earlier in the year. I finished 2 sprint triathlons (not strong finishes, but finishes nonetheless) and completed the 40-mile Tour de Cure course in Memphis. That was also my first experience with hills since I'm stuck in Arkansas farmland. So, while I'm dissapointed about the number on the scale, that's all it is: a number. |
