Subject: RE: "Be Iron Fit" for a 1/2I used the book designed for a 70.3 and varied between the 3 plans. I did the intermediate swim because my swim was weak and I wanted the confidence of completing more than the just finish, I did the competitive plan for the bike (my strength ) and the just finish for the run (less is more on the run as I get injured over time ). It worked great. I finished 30 minutes ahead of my goal and with a huge smile on my face. Which may have been bad as I enjoyed it so much, I signed up for a full... :/ I plan to use the same author for the full. My hubs had great success with the full plan and I am already used to the format. Hth. |
