Swim
Comments: I tried to concentrate on my new mantra of slow down to go faster. I concentrated on gliding. It seemed to help because I did not feel tired and was 5 minutes faster than last year! I was surprised at the number of people holding on to the kayaks! Kinda scary! What would you do differently?: Nothing!! Transition 1
Comments: Hmm, I still struggle with my wetsuit. Not sure what to do about it. I felt like I was here forever! Bike
Comments: The hill was hard but frankly not as bad as I had remember and was dreading! What would you do differently?: Ride faster. Transition 2

Comments: I felt great and didn't even use my walk/run at all after the turn around. My foot didn't hurt and I felt great! Post race
Warm down: Grabbed some Gatorade and homemade cookies! Cleaned up the best I could without a shower for the awards and lunch afterwards! What limited your ability to perform faster: I weigh much more than I should. I have been training the best I can with my foot and knee and I was really worried about this race.
