Rocketman 2016

In years past it was held on Redstone Arsenal, but this year they moved it to Ditto. I did not race it this year, but am familiar with the area. Ditto is a nice place for the family to hang out during the race. It does have a lot of shade and camp sites if you wanted to camp. There is a play ground at the camp site for the kids. Its really close to town and is easy to get in and out of. over all it is a good race with a really nice venue. Hope this helps.....

Probably one of my favorite Oly courses. It's been on Redstone, but the move to Ditto Landing was awesome.

Of course, this year, it poured a monsoon just hours before the start and parking became a nightmare, but it was manageable. I enjoyed it. The course was great and the run was even better.

You can't ask for a better race venue than Rocketman. It's fast and fun.

Just saw this and was wondering if you made it to Rocketman? I did it for the first time, and had a blast. It was a great course and the RD and everyone involved did a superb job I thought. Now if we can just get those Alabama August temperatures down a little bit for that run....
