Subject: RE: Intermediate TT bike I picked up an Orbea Ordu - 2014 w/Ultegra for $2500. As has been said though, that was after meeting with a fitter and determining what some good options were for my build and flexibility. Then back to the fitter post purchase to have the fit dialed in.
Bottom line is there are tons of options in that price range. Start with an understanding of what some good options might be and which geometries are just not right for you. Then find what you like and get it properly fitted. When I got my bike I was with the fitter so long I thought I was going to have to pay rent. We tweaked and adjusted for over four hours. But the bike has always felt great.
Whenever this question comes up 'fit' is always the first consideration everyone mentions. There's a reason for that.
Happy hunting.
