Swim
Comments: Only 2 swim practices since last September What would you do differently?: Swim more before first race of the season Transition 1
Comments: Great transition - 2nd out of 29 in age group. But the bike starts up hill and I had trouble getting my foot into my left shoe and lost alot of time. What would you do differently?: For this race I should have put mu tri shoes on and run in them. Bike
Comments: Weak bike leg. This is my weakest leg of the race. I only had 2 or 3 training rides in the last month. Transition 2
Comments: 3rd of 29 in age group. Very good transition was able to pass 2 or 3 who arrived before me. What would you do differently?: Nothing Run
Comments: Could have been faster. Had a side stitch during 2nd lap. Post race
Warm down: Had chocolate milk. Signed up for a massage then went through food line. Egg and spinach fritatta was delicious.Went to the finish line to see Tim Middleton finish. What limited your ability to perform faster: normal lack of training during the off season. Event comments: This is a great early season race. The venue and race course is great. I love the open water format pool swim. Last updated: 2016-04-02 12:00 AM

Got up. Ate a banana and I slice of wheat bread with pnut butter. Packed up transition bag, bike, and pump and headed out at 0530. Didn't make it out of the neighborhood before I realized I forgot my running shoes. Returned for shoes and left again.
No warm up, just hung out with Tim Middleton and Karen from Team RWB.
