Swim
Comments: Swim went well. I was drafting with group for the first 200m, but after the two buoys, I started getting my sighting all out of place. I wasn't sure which buoy to follow when I got near the 2nd Doritos buoy. Swam extra 100yards. Easily. Had to stop to correct my navigation twice. I was way off course the second time. What would you do differently?: I know how the course is set up, but I wish I studied the swim buoys better. Transition 1
Comments: Didn't really rush onto my bike. Made sure I stuffed everything in a bag, which was not necessary. What would you do differently?: Put my shoes on my bike and put it on while riding Bike
Comments: Bike went great. Not much to improve there. It really helped to drive through the course before the race. What would you do differently?: None Transition 2
Comments: Took a little time putting my socks on. I realized I put my socks on backwards so I had to correct it after putting everything on. What would you do differently?: None Run
Comments: Obviously run is my strong leg. Made a mistake of using the event ankle (plastic) band. It dug into back of my ankle. It was bleeding bad by end of the race. What would you do differently?: Never put plastic ankle band. Ever. Post race
Warm down: Walk around. Get medical help to cleanse my ankle cut. Eat couple slices of pizza and banana. What limited your ability to perform faster: Didn't want to push too hard for a B race Last updated: 2016-04-28 12:00 AM

Eat banana and yogurt. Ate a small muffin from the hotel lobby and downed a cup of coffee before driving to the race site.
Park my car and start setting up the transition. Went to porta couple of times before the start.
