Hello! I am new to triathalons and just finished the st George ironman last week. I loved it! Now I am looking to buy a tri bike for my next one. Definitely addicting! Looking to spend no more than 1300 on a used one. Let me know if you have anything. Much appreciated! I am 5'9 tall.

Thanks

My Blue Triad SP is for sale here: http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=540159&posts=4&page=1

I'm 5'4", but my 6'0" roommate used it for a few TTs with some adjustments.

Fit me well, with plenty of room for adjustment to accommodate another 5" of person.

X

My Mom bought a TT bike from http://www.mybikeshop.com/and she loves her bike. They worked with her to get her on her first TT bike. Due to her experience, I am now in the process of buying a bike from them. I gave them my budget and they have gone above and beyond to keep me under budget. They have been a joy to work with, so give them a try.

I have always been an athlete, growing up playing team sports like basketball and soccer. I also ran in a couple of 10K races every year, so I had no reason to worry about running a 5K...right?

After I left the running store, I couldn't stop thinking about the sprint tri and how much of a challenge it would be for me. So instead of joining a gym, I started riding my bike and it felt great.

The triathlon bike vs. road bike quandary. Before you even ask the road bike vs. tri bike question, you should have a couple sprint triathlons or duathlons under your belt.

I couldn't believe that my splits kept getting lower! I started to run harder after I passed the "5 km" sign and picked a few people that I wanted to pass.
