Subject: RE: 6.20.16 Happy Monday and 1st Day of Summer! I had to switch things up a bit this morning. Instead of doing my plank first thing in the morning, I had to get my bike ride in before my wife went to her zumba (I think? ) class. This was one of my slowest rides in quite a while. It seemed like every time I got up to speed, I had to stop or at least slow way down. The route I usually do isn't the fastest to begin with for this very reason, but today it was just ridiculous.
After I cooled down a bit, I did my 2 minute plank. I don't think I cooled down enough though because I was sweating by the time I was done. Who would have though that staying still in an air conditioned room could make one sweat?
This afternoon I am planning on getting to the pool and getting a mile in (possibly 2000 yds? ). If I am feeling up to it, I may go the the Y and run a mile or two while our daughter is at swim practice. I'm trying to do one day a week where I do all three sports, and another where I do a brick. I'm less than a month away from my first tri, so I gotta start putting the pieces together. As of Friday, I was about one pound away from where I wanted to be by race day.
