Subject: Running shoe replacement
So by now most of us have seen the PI announcement, they are leaving the running shoe line.
I love these shoes, after going though many types I found the P.I Trail to fit my feet and not leave me sore after running. I were running in the Saucony Peregrines before these and were about 85% happy. The toe box was just too narrow for me.

So now what? With P.I E-motion going away, what to I go to? I really don't want to start going thought shoe after shoe, so how about some suggestions that are close to the P.I shoes. My running is mainly trails and gravel roads. I might spend less then 10% on pavement.

If narrow toe boxes are your problem, look into Altras. They're the only shoe that gave my toe box enough room to be happy.

buy as many pairs of the PI as you can now in order to delay the search for a new shoe for as long as you can.

Never ran in PI, but I've ran in some Saucony Peregrines.

New Balance shoes seem to work quite well for my feet, their Leadville is my shoe of choice.

You can get it pretty wide as well, they Have D standard, 2E, wide and 4E, extra wide.

I tend to have pretty wide feet and the 2E leadvilles work phenomenally for me, a buddy of mine has the 4E width, and we both have a hard time finding toeboxes that are wide enough otherwise.

So, since my beloved go-to shoe brand has changed its shoe, after reading the bruhaha about the minimalist shoe, I decided to give it a try. Now I have a foot issue with my arch area.

I decided that, after having a new hip put in 11 months ago, I needed a new lifestyle. Just wondering if there's anything that I should know about-especially for the running and biking.

Most people believe that running barefoot is dangerous. Certainly, depending upon the surface, they would be correct. However, there is some suggestion that running barefoot may reduce injuries.
