Comments:

Felt a little weak on this, mostly due to over exertion during a week of back to back races. will definitely need to watch the scheduling for next year.
Post race
Warm down:

Drink and eat

What limited your ability to perform faster:

too many races in succession during the previous week. Ran an offroad tri 14 Aug, a 5K race 15 Aug, a 5k 16 Aug and a 10K 17 Aug. Nope, not as young as I used to be, need a little more recovery time.

Event comments:

I really enjoy the Senior games as it pits us old timers against folks closer to our on ages, the camaraderie and attitude is so awesome.

Why it’s so hard for us to talk about losing at a simple game? Sports are supposed to be about building positive character, supposed to be about fairness, equality, and striving for excellence.

As the fog cleared, the buoy that I first saw earlier in the morning was just the first marker in a very long line of buoys that stretched across the lake like a runway for a 747 jetliner.
