Subject: RE: Swim Time Keep in mind that "good" is relative to your level of fitness. if you have only been swim training for a couple of weeks, that would not be a bad time. when I first started swimming, my first goal was to swim 50 yards in a minute. It took a few weeks to get there. When I hit that goal, I then tried to hit that pace for longer and longer distances. when i first started swimming, it seemed like I would plateau for about 3 weeks and then have a jump in performance. Two weeks is not that much time.
