Subject: Zwift and others?
Now that fall is coming and I'm nursing a running injury, been thinking more kindly about my trainer. I used Zwift while it was in beta and enjoyed it but never signed up once it cost $. Wondering how you folks feel about it now, or are there other to consider like Rouvy?

Recently started using it and it's as good as indoor riding can be. I "suffered through" the last 2 winters riding my indoor trainer while watching youtube or even movies but it was tough to motivate myself to do anything other than just spin. I started using Zwift initially as a recovery tool after knee surgery since my ortho didn't want me riding outside. I've got to say, it's a pretty cool experience and I find I push myself harder than just spinning watching videos. I plan on coming out of winter stronger than ever on my bike.

I have both TrainerRoad and Zwift.  If you want to follow a structured training plan, TrainerRoad is the way to go IMO.  I, however, find myself on Zwift quite a bit since it's more entertaining if you're not in "training mode".  I still get a good workout on Zwift and I do push myself (to pass people, maintain a certain wattage, do well in sprints) but it's not structured.  Zwift does have a library of workouts you could use, but it's no where near as robust as TrainerRoad.  Bottom line, if I was training for a specific race or fitness level (FTP) I'd use TrainerRoad.  If I just wanted to maintain or improve fitness in a less structured way, and have some fun while doing so, Zwift is a nice option.  That's why I have both!

At $10 a month you can't beat ZWIFT. I grab a daily fix although there could be worse addictions
