Comments: Eh, the run went the opposite direction as last year and I shaved off right around 2 minutes. I think I liked last year's direction better. No snow/ice this year, just mud. The best part is running on the canal towpath by the old canal bed and locks and by the creek, scenery-wise. What would you do differently?: Not be a cow. Seriously, I gained 10 lbs. since Oct. Not good.  Post race
Warm down: Walked to the car to get warm/dry clothes, then went back for post-race food, awards, hanging out with friends, etc. What limited your ability to perform faster: See "What would you do differently?" Got there very early, brought Kaye (racer) and her hubby (spectator) with us. Got our sweatshirts (swag) and bib numbers, then sat in the car for a bit. Eventually I at a Stinger bar and sipped on some Nuun.
Short little run plus some dynamic stretches.
