Great to see that there is lots of activity even though there is no racing.
It's just over a month to my first race which is a mini sprint consisting of 150 M swim
), 7 KM Ride & 1.2 KM run. A nice way to start the season. The swim can be a challenge in rough, choppy conditions. I'm using this race as a warm up for the rest of the season. My focus to date has been on building strength and increasing my running distances.
I need to shed some weight to fit into my wet suit and tri suit. Gained a few extra pounds while on holiday and recent family celebrations.
I've set some modest goals for this race and I'm on track to achieve them. If I make it to the starting line then I've had a win regardless of what happens on race day.
