Subject: RE: 08.29.2019 Thursday Taper Party 6:00 AM: 30-minute run. Some of it was fast, but most of it was slow. I am doing a really deep taper/rest week. Compared to the 2-1/2 hour run I was doing two weeks ago, this mornings 30-minute run was just a warm-up. I will be doing three races in the next 5 weeks. Combined they will be about the equivalent of an Ironman. My sprint this week will be about as long as the swim leg of an Ironman. The 70.3 race that I do three weeks after that will be about as long as the bike leg of an Ironman and the Marathon that I do two weeks after that will round out the run leg of the Ironman. |
