Black face

So Canada’s PM is shown in picture dressed as Arab wearing brown face. Frankly, I don’t see the issue. People have been dressing up for costume parties forever. Now I guess you can’t dress up like an Indian or Mexican or black person or Arabian. I saw an old video of Eddie Murphy made to like like a white dude. I found it amusing despite the stereotypes. Kay Ivey, Alabama governor, had to apologize for wearing blackface in college over 50 years.

We live in a world now where if you tell a joke that stereotypes someone you are a racist or bigot. So if I say, “Whenever you have 4 Irishmen, there’s a fifth.” Does that mean I don’t like the Irish? I don’t even know any Irishmen!

Oh well, I guess if someone wants to be offended, I can’t stop them.
