Subject: 03.16.2020 Social Distancing Monday Training Well...I may have been a little bummed this weekend. Church, School, running club, school, and my Regional Championship Duathlon in two weeks all go put on hold on Thursday. I stayed up half the night on Thursday rewriting the final two months of the Youth Running Club so it could be an on-your-own plan for the youth with group goals to keep everyone encouraging each other. Then I slept through Friday's workout. I did get to do the Youth Running Club work out on Friday in the Race with two of the group members (but not the full 20 members of the group). I also slept through Saturday's morning workout. I told myself I would do something later in the day, but that didn't happen So today I was back on the bike for 60 minutes after Two days off and after missing my main morning session on Friday. The bike plan that I am on right now half kills me every workout. I am getting it done through. Today I have 5 x 20" all out with 40" recover followed by 15 minutes in the highest gear doing 55 Cadence for 15 minutes. I also have some tempo work and endurance work but those are easy for me. It is the big gear and sprints that kill me. Train hard. Races will be back in a few months. |
