Help my bike trainer!

Have two smart trainers, both the Cycleops M2 smart trainers. One that I've been using is super quiet, aka you need to walk into the room to hear it. The other one we purchased recently sounds like the "fan" aspect is 100x louder as you can hear it anywhere in the house. Any ideas? Can't contact company as we purchased it from Facebook Marketplace (guy used it once).
