Subject: 06.09.2020 - Tiptop Tuesday 5:45 AM - 40-minute run speed work run. This was a 10-minute warm-up, 3 x 800m with 3-1/2 minute rest interval, and 10 minutes cool down. I am still acclimating to the hot mornings. The heat drains me, but this was a really short work out. Later today I will try to get in about 1000+ yards at the pool. The Water aerobic class wasn't running the first two weeks that our gym was opened back up, but they started yesterday and so and when I got in the pool at 5:15 PM I was told that a class was starting at 5:30. So I swam as fast for 12 minutes hitting 750 yards and got out. I started at short 15 minutes swim section the first week back to swimming and moved up to 20 minutes. I wanted to keep inching up to 25 minutes this week, but that will be a challenge with water aerobic classes taking over all the prime swimming spots. Make today count. |
