Subject: 06-18.2020 - Thrilling Thursday I hit the road at 6:00AM this morning for a 4-mile run. It is the last work out on my plan until Saturday's race. I did not feel particularly fresh. Some times I come out of recovery weeks feeling more fatigued that I do going in. I am sure it is mental but that is what I am feeling this week. I think the warmer mornings are part of this feeling. I know my legs will be ready on Saturday because I have cut the volume way back this week, but I will be racing later in the day than what I have been training at and with the morning getting real hot really early my biggest fear is that I will be adjust to the heat that we might have on race day. |
