In the next few weeks, I'm visiting the Fayetteville/Rogers area. Anyone know if there are good locations for open-water swimming?

I have been water skiing and swimming in Beaver Lake right to the East of Rogers.  That is where I would look for an OWS if I were you.  It looks like there is a Prairie Creek Swimming area.  I would think that there would be literally 100's of good swimming areas on that Lake though.  It is a lake that is heavily used for recreation including cliff jumping, swimming, water skiing, kayaking, etc.

By the way... I went to the Prairie Creek public use area. Didn't go to the roped-off swim area, but swam along the shore to the west. Really nice and safe. If I had a kayak for support/visibility, it looks like it would be about 1/4 mile to swim across the lake. Great spot.

Nice!  We drove through there two weeks ago on our way to the Trifest for MS in Bentonville, AR were my three daughters all did their first Kids Triathlon.  The weather has been really nice the past few weeks.  Glad to hear you found a good spot to swim.
