Thanks for the well wishes, everyone - had a great race coming in exact as planned (3 hours flat).  I'll do a write up tomorrow but very pleased with my effort.  Oh, and it wasn't wetsuit legal, so we had 81 degree water and 48 degree air temps at the start.

Well done! Looking forward to reading your report

First day of training after a 17 days break. A slow 10k. Nice to get moving again, albeit slowly.

Originally posted by aviatrix802 Congrats, Mike! I’m seeing your stuff on Strava, way to go! Your swim sounds like a hot tub in the winter with a roll in the snow. Hahaha. How did you handle the temps on the bike? Hi all! I’m still lurking and following!

Welcome back, Jenn.  I was about to start needling you on Strava to get back over here.

The first ten miles were uphill so I was able to get warmed up after a few minutes.  I debated wearing an outer layer but decided against it during T1 as not many people were.  I rode pretty hard (IF around 0.85) so that kept me warm.

I had more issues during the first half of the run because my feet were numb.

Mike that's awesome! Can't wait to read your RR! Sucks about the cold temps and numb feet but glad you still hit your goals!

Jenn welcome back!!!

Got in a master's swim yesterday, about 2k yards in 40 minutes (arrived late and had to leave earlier haha oops).

This morning did a 12 mile ACTUAL bike ride (thanks for pushing me to do this, Mike). Did the BWI loop with my friend, then we did a 20 minute run. She had to leave and I was supposed to do a long run so ran another 6 miles! Felt really strong and negative split at the end (8:18 avg pace for the run total). I feel super ready for my race!
