Open Water Swimming near Colchester CT

Lake Terramuggus is a nice place to swim and hosts weekly sprint triathlon events-at least in the past before covid hit. It is in Marlborough, which is about 10 miles away but right off of Rt 2. I think it's exit 12 or 13, @ Blish Memorial Park.

Small beach and swim area but you can go beyond that for extra distance. The triathlon event swims a counterclockwise triangle from the right side of the beach.
