Subject: Hey from KS Rookie
New to the T-Spot. New to multisport and lovin it, even at 40 :-) First Triathlon was Topeka Tinman short course on 6/19 (300/9/3) in 1:06. Second was Shawnee Mission on 7/15 (500/9/2.5 very hilly) in 1:12:12. Third on, Midwest Meltdown (1000/15/4) is this coming Sunday in Kansas City KS. Hope I'm ready! Hey, its great to get over the fear of drowning in the open water. Now, of course, I'm thinking about time and performance instead of just finishing. I guess the love of competition drives alot of us, right!
