Run
Comments: Everyting came together to work perfectly. After a very rocky training schedual, it somehow worked out. I never really hit the wall. I ran up to the wall and leaned against it; I felt its contours and knew it was close, but never really hit it. Lets say it was a narrow miss. What would you do differently?: Nothing, it worked out just fine. Post race
Warm down: sat my ass down and ate a cinnamon bun, too tired to actually do some sort of "warm down" routine. What limited your ability to perform faster: Nothing, this is as good as it gets boys and girls. Event comments: This was a good race, a GREAT RACE for me, but as races go, it was good. The Expo needed a bit of tweaking, but overall, this was a nice race. I came with a goal, qualify for Boston, and the race delivered EXACTLY what it promised....a very flat course, good aid stations, and every opprotunity to run as good as your training allowed. The Fly By of a C-130 military aircraft at the start was a huge bonus!!!! Well done, and thankyou. Last updated: 2006-10-18 12:00 AM
