Comments:

it was my first open water swim, so i didnt really know what to expect. i started off really slow, yet could not get my breathing down to do every 2 strokes, had to do every stroke. the swim seemed long and it was hard.
What would you do differently?:

i did my best i would not do anything different except train more, and towards the end push a little harder.

Comments:

i did not go hard enough on the bike, towards the end i really started pushing it, tryin to hang with a guy and pass him, could not then right at the end of the race on a corner were we transition, he slamed on his brakes, i did too, went flying over my handlebars, suxed! got up very dizzy, walked my bike into the transition area, still dizzy, started to run, dizzy for about 100yards, blood running down my leg and arms, from cuts.
What would you do differently?:

APPLY brakes the equal amount, do not try to catch someone in the last hundred yards.

Comments:

well i was dazed and dizzy from fall so went real slow on transition
