CalgaryRunner - 2007-01-01 11:26 AM Attached is the spreadsheet so far.  Please look it over and let me know if any corrections are required.  We'll decide on teams once I see how many people join us.  (This challenge is open for people to join up through this Saturday - January 6th 2007).

Hello Steve and Happy New Year to all!

My swim goal needs to be adjusted as I will be away for a little more than a week come mid-january and won't have access to a pool. My run goal is not a concern but I won't have access to a computer to log my training times; I will do so when I come back.

A more realistic swim goal in this case will be 20000m instead of the 30000m I originally posted.

Thanks!

Nathalie

Thanks,
tom

Steve,

You the man! I'm in as I need to continue the swimming progression I acheived in Dec and build the run again for Feb/March 10k's.  I'd likle to play only this time around as I have some business travel, unless there is an absolute need to have a captain for the SE region then I'll do it...

I need to work on the goals so I'll post that seperately in the SE group when/if it is etablished.

I enjoyed the December Swim Challenge - it got me out swimming on some mornings when I would have otherwise stayed in bed for a few more minutes of sleep.

Anyone up for a January Swim + Run Challenge?  Format the same as the December Swim Challenge - set a goal for yourself for how far/long you hope to Swim and Run in January.

If you are interested - let me know.  Also let me know if you would volunteer to be a team captain.

Spreadsheet Updated but too large to attach.  Will split it up later and post 2 or more spreadsheets.  I need some Team Captains folks so if you can spare some time please PM me to let me know you will act as a team captain.  (Rather than having teams based on location I may just try to split the teams so that they have even numbers).

I'm in.  Trying to recover from the holidaze!  8,000 yards swimming and 400 minutes running.  Yet again trying to learn to run and like it.  Help me hold to actually doing the couch to 5k while keeping up (somewhat anyway) on swimming and biking.  I can't wait for my training partner to get back from her vacation in Orlando.

I have received some volunteers to be Team Captains (thank you - thank you- thank you) and divided the teams up randomly (with the exception of one participant who asked to be paired up with someone else).

See the Team Assignments Spreadsheet to see which team you are on.

Team Captains are highlighted.  (Team Captains - please download your respective spreadsheet and update it each week - totals should be for swims up to and including the Saturday night).  Please post your teams spreadsheet as soon as you can each week (I'll start a separate Captains Only Thread).

Please check over your entry on your spreadsheet to be sure it is correct and PM your team captain if any changes are required.

If anyone else would still like to join - please PM me with your goals and I will assign you to one of the teams.

Good luck to All.

Steve

Is it too late to get on a team?

If not I'd be in for 200 min of running and 300 mins of swimming.
