Veteran  118  Roeland Park |  Subject: Putting myself out thereHey all! As you may have guessed from the screen name, I am from Kansas City. I got suckered into a 5k last year at this time and realized that I am in no way, shape or form allergic to running (as I had previously thought). I figured, over the last year, I need to do something different. I am a newbie in all senses of the sport(s) and am willing to tri. This place is great and I hope to meet fellow KC'ers that share the same goals and will have fun reaching them! |

It sounds like you're off to a good start- just keep updating your logs and stick with it. So do you have any specific tris in mind as a goal? I think it definitely helps to pick a race and register.
