Blew my swim goals out of the water (pun intended).  Goal 6500 yds---8750 yds to date.  This was probably my last swim today.  I'll be going out of town on Sunday night, and don't intend on swimming mega laps in a hotel pool.

Run goal is going to be challenging.  Run goal is 16 hrs--have 10 hrs and 40 min right now.  Have 35 min planned tomorrow, 1:50 on Saturday and 1:40 next week.  That will leave me 1:15 short of goal.  I will need to tag 20 min of running onto every day.  Wish me luck...

And Q, good luck on your 50K this weekend!

Sending some positive running vibes your way!!!  You can do it!  20 minutes extra isn't that much.  Use the fact that my sorry a$$ will be out there for 7hours in mega-winter conditions, that should be some motivation eh? HA!  Congrats on the swim goal!  Way to go!!!

Thanks for the good luck!  I'll need it!  Snow, ice, and 17-degres for 31 miles.  Fun times.

Alright...

Knocked out 10 mi this evening so this week's pace is 100% in the bag with 2 days left. If I swim tomorrow and run as planned, I'll easily finish over goal.

We can do it Purple. We take this challenge!

The place I'm going this weekend has no high speed internet so I may not be able to get online and log my last 31.1 miles until late Sunday.  I may have someone (probably Tri Take Me Away) put a post in this thread that I've completed the race since I won't be able to log the miles.  So keep an eye on the thread on Saturday to get my mileage, this way I don't miss the check-in on Saturday evening/Sunday morning.  Thanks team!  GO PURPLE!

Ok Purple people...

Looking at the results, we've taken 1st in
Average % of Goal                           83.88%
Teams Overall Goal met %              56.25%
Team's Aggregate %                        70.06%

Way to go everyone. Congratulations to me (originakid), Q, sachinh, and TriGirl10 for meeting or beating our goal pace. In fact Q, sachinh, and TriGirl10 have already logged in enough swim and run to complete their monthly challenges.

Sorry guys...failure...   Was traveling this week in Georgia.  Ended up working about 12 hrs a day.  Got a few treadmill runs in, but not 3 hrs worth.  So I'll be short on my run miles.  I'll update today.

Thanks for the motivation, though.  This challenge ALWAYS gets me motivated to reach my training goals.  Sorry for the deficit...

Hi, I probably should have checked this earlier... but my goals went into the spreadsheet backwards. I was supposed to run 240, and swim the smaller time. oops I definately made the run goal and the swim was close. Thanks for the challange!

Guys, I also fell off the swimming because of kids' illnesses. I achieved my running, but fell 2,000 yd short on the swim.

Unfortunately, the preliminary results look like we went from first to worst.
