O.K., if their butts are already blue, doesn't that mean we've already kicked their butts?  kidding...

Great job on your goals trigirl10!

Speaking of butts, I'm kicking butt on my swim goals, but a little behind on my run goals.  Doing 11 miles on Saturday, but may have to kick that mileage up...

Hey team.  I'm running another mary tomorrow so don't fret at my lack of running this week.  I'm hoping to have the miles logged by the time our captain reports our stats but in case I can't, no worries, the miles will get done.  Hope everyone has a great weekend!

GO PURPLE! Have you ever noticed that "purple" sounds weird if you say it too many times?

Let's keep up the good work purple.

sparco - 2007-01-19 2:21 PM GOOD LUCK Q! Rest...

Thanks a bunch!  Rest is the order of business tonight...and a few beers.  Taking my brother (who turns 21 today) out for his first legal drink, so why not relax and have a couple Hoegaardens or Blue Moons?

Subject: Week 3 results for the purple team

The week 3 results are now posted. Grey results are up (they were ahead of us last week) and we've surpassed them. If the teams behind us put up similar results, we should be moving up.

Average % of goal: 61.77%
Teams overall % met: 12.50%
Teams aggregate %: 37.13%

Congratulations to Q and TriGirl10, who are both at or above in both swimming and running.

The rest of us need to get ourselves to target!

Go Purple

I should be able to quickly catchup and surpass my swim goals. The week away from the pool is the only reason I'm behind. I think I'll easily get the run taken care of since I made extra sure to get running in while I was away.

Thanks for the effort.

Way to go on getting back in the game team Purple!!  We really came from behind this week!!

I'm gonna be over my swim goal by Thursday and I'll hit my run goal on Saturday up in Michigan during the Paint Creek 50K.  So everything is on schedule for me.  I only have to run roughly 1.7 miles during the week this week to put myself in position to run that 100th mile at the finish of the 50K.

Go PURPLE!!!

Are you absolutely insane?  You're doing a 50K this Saturday?  If I'm calculating right, that's 31 miles!  You need to check yourself in...

O.K., I'm just jealous because I probably can't run one right now...good luck...you'll do great!!!

Thanks for the congrats!  It was a good race...I still have to do the RR though.  I'll get to that today.  Yeah I'm pretty crazy, but they don't call us "Marathon Maniacs" for nothin! LOL  By the end of this month I will have done three 50K's, one 50miler, and three marathons...all in 5 months.  People tell me all the time that I'm crazy.

Way to go purple team!  We've really moved up in this competition.  Nice comeback from being last in week 1!!

Let's keep up the good work purple.

... and we would have done much better if yours truly had actually put in the updates in time !!!

According to my rough calculations, if I had put in the updates in time , then the Average % of Goal would be 63.33 % and the Teams Aggregated %age would be 37.91% . The former , I guess would have put us firmly in the lead

Sorry team !

Must update Log before Saturday ... Must update Log before Saturday ... Must update Log before Saturday ...

Actually, as long as you are updated by Saturday PM, you will be included. My free time is generally in the early AM and late PM. So Sunday morning, I jump in, update the sheet and upload it...

Just so you know you have a little wiggle room.

For this week I have 1,020 yd swim left and 3.5 mi run left.

Since my typical run is 3.2 mi+ daily, I should knock out my overall run goal by the weekend.

I hope to hit this week's pace goal in swim this PM. If not, I'll try for Thurs or Friday. My typical swim day is 1,000 yd. So I need one more.

Next week I have two PM swims that should close out my 15,000 yd overall goal.

Go Purple!     Not bad for a bunch of leftovers!

Ha ha! got this week's swimming knocked this afternoon. Now I only have the 3.5 mi to get back on pace to complete this challenge at or over 100%.

Keep it up Purple
