i'd like to say yes, every day - but then my kids come demanding something and it's always a day about them... in my dreams it's a day all about me.... that is when the kids let me sleep to dream...

yes, and actually that was today.

I've been under a mass amount of stress w/ grad school decisions coming up, thesis defense, senior exhibition, internship, newspaper, sorority recruitment....that I basically had a melt down yesterday at the matting and framing workshop for the student jury show. I decided that after work this morning, I was not going to go to class. I slept from 7:30 am when I got back from work till 12:30. Went grocery shopping. Read a non-academic book...relaxed. It was great. I shouldn't have skipped my classes, but I can get the notes from other people. I really rarely miss class, but I just felt like I was going to explode and cry at anything. I just needed to sleep

Yep. I'm taking the afternoon off. It's great to be the boss!
