good luck to those of you racing.  i'll be helping out with the body marking and run start.  look for a piece of masking tape on my jacket that says "3558" and don't forget to say hi!

I am looking forward to this weekend for sure!  My first triathlon, and can't wait to get my feet wet.  I would also be grateful for any advice you guys have to offer.

You could use this tri for a good place to practice your transitions, distances might be short but still the same transition for Sprint/Olympic distance tri's.

I raced this last year, and will be spectating this year (I would volunteer, but my 18 month old tends to take up the free hand(s) you need to help out).

Although you do the transitions backwards (run to bike, bike to swim) it is still a good chance to get a feel for how they go off under race conditions. The run course seems a little shorter than the advertised 1.4 miles, and just be ready on the bike for the 180 degree turns.

This is a really well run event, I'm looking forward to being there and watching my friends take part.

HAHA, have forgotten small stuff before but never a bike.

I am either going to be out on the run or bike directing traffic.

WHat will you all wear for the race? I have a trisuit which is shorts and bratop... needless to say that aint going to cut it for me in 45 and rain....

Should I wear my under armor tights over my shorts  and a fleece then pull them off for the swim?
