Subject: St. Charles, IL Half Marathon
Anybody else doing the Great Western Half Marathon?  May 6.  I've never done it.  It's supposed to be a nice trail run, pretty flat.  I got an email today saying registration is already closed.  800 runners.

no I forgot to sign up. Opps.

I was signed up once before for it but I missed it due to injury. I got all excited I did like 5 miles earlier in the week and the next day my injury hurt so I had to cancel my plans. I have heard good things about it though. Good luck.

I'm registered for it! Never done it before, but should be a lot of fun and scenic.  I'm running a 10 K in Naperville tomorrow that is a trail run, so I hope this will give me an idea of a trail Half.... 

Even though the registration is closed, you could maybe check/post on Craigslist? you never know, somebody might have a last minute cancellation...  would love to meet ya and run it with you! (well, i'd still be running loooong after you are done, but we can say hi at the starting line LOL )
