Woke up late but managed to get it together in time. Coffee on the road and 2 waffles.

Just light stetching before, very chlly by the water

Perfect hydration, didn't even use gels. Dressright on for temperature
What would you do differently?:

Not run the first 1/2 with friends. I am a competitor now- no more social runs for me (exceptmothrs day w/ my daughter)

Nice work. That's a great attitude about being a competitor - I hope you do awesome in your next race. Good job on making it to the race on time...running late is always very stressful. Enjoy the rest of the season and your Mother's Day run .

Hey thanks - I didn't think people actually read these- Sorry your race didn't go as well as you had hoped, but if it makes you feel any better I have my first tri in July and I'm still to scared to go outside on my bike with the clip/pedals, becuase I don't want to make an a#$of myself. SO.... your racing w/ transitions w/ pedals makes you my hero! Have a great rest of the weekend - if you can considering the weather
