Subject: I’m bummin’ …Man, I am coming down with a cold!  I was supposed to run 5.5 miles today but, after an unscheduled 37 mile bike ride yesterday, and running 3 miles in the hills for the first time Fri, I decided to do my Mon night run, an easy 3 miles, today. However, I’ve been dragging all day. I’m stuffed up and feel like I have a slight fever. WAAAaaa...  So, I dumped some extra carbs ito me (Gatorade 50/50 w/ water, PB on multi-grain, and a bowl of grape nuts ) and I’m taking a rest day.
Hopefully I’ll be back at it tomorrow. If I feel 100%, I’ll go for the 5.5 miles. If I feel so-so, I’ll ease out 3 and be happy I was able to get out.
Being sick stinks, not to mention what it does to the training plan!
Ahhh... CHOOO!
On a good note... I tore-down and rebuilt my MTB. So, it's ready to go when the leaves start to fall.

BTW:
What does the jury say about Gatorade? Do you drink it or stay away from it due to the high sugars?
