Got both my workouts in this week.  Not sure I'll get another one in today or not.  Being sick stinks...I'll make sure I get an extra one in next week.

Yea, it's deff. the bike That and loosing 30 some odd lbs (thanks BT Challenges) Well gotta go shower now just finished mowing the yard. Have a good one.

Working on a six pac one crunch at a time

Only 7 days until DATT

Chris

30LBS! I don't even know you and I am SUPER proud of you! If I lost 30LBS, I would be mowing my lawn naked! Do you? Way to go!

Well thank you! I still have about 20 lbs to go but it is getting there a little at a time. As for mowing my lawn naked...it would be a novel way to get rid of these weird tan lines from bikeing, running and swimming...I look like a zebra of some sort. But I am afraid the neighbor would object Have a great week end!

Only 6 days until DATT Race.

I AM A LEAN(ish), MEAN, SNARLIN' ABS MACHINE!!!! Just got home from a 2 hr ride along the North Shore with my new club, (NSTC) very stoked about it, handled the ride pretty well, stayed near the back due to my lack of knowledge on how to lead, got in the door and crushed another ABS workout! GO BLUE!! Time for bed, wife and dog are both on the floor asleep. My legs are dead and I am feeling #2 and the Bicycles! My gut hurts! Have a great day tomorrow everyone!

I know I saw your blog this morning, any longer with your but on a bike seat you would have needed medical attention. Can't believe you have time to post here with all the attention you get on your own blog page! You are one popular girl! Way to go on all the work outs! Go Mila GO!

Yes sir, Captain!  An extra ab session coming up!!!  17 ab sessions completed out of  20  . . .er. .  I mean 21 !!

Some nights I'm exhausted and just getting in the minimum, but that is why I'm here.  Without these challenges, I would just collapse with a book and not do anything.

Okay team members, as previously mentioned last month, here is an update to the challenge. In order to boost interest and aid some people out that have been stuck with injuries, poor health or like me, a lack of drive...so here are some new rules. I know, changing the rules so late in the game...but I am both Canadian and the Challenge Chief for this one so too bad!! Special halfway Core challenge update:

Up to this point "Teams Overall Goal met %" portion of the challenge calculation was limited to a person getting a '1' for 100% or greater goal acheivement, or a '0' for not getting your goal. We're changing this rule to give be able for you to have more than 100%, up to 120% max. Or if you just missed due to an illness or slight injury, but wanted to keep on playing, you can now get some credit for achieving at least 70% of your goal. So, the changes are listed below, hope this incentive helps!
1) you achieve <70% of your goal, you will get credit for 0% (previously 0% credit)
2) you achieve 70% to <80% of your goal, you will now get credit for 70% (previously 0% credit)
3) you acheive 80% to <90% of your goal, you will now get credit for 80% (previously 0% credit)
4) you achieve 90% to <100% of your goal, you will now get credit for 90% (previously 0% credit)
5) you achieve 100% to <106% of your goal, you will now get credit for 100% (previously 100% credit)
6) you achieve 106% to <116% of your goal, you will now get credit for 110% (previously 100% credit)
7) you achieve 116% or more of your goal, you will now get credit for 120% (previously 100% credit)

Alright... that means I'm upping my little crunchfests by at least one per week.  It's good, it will give me something to do next week when I'm busy not riding my bike too much before my race...

Sad to report but one of your team members has been out injured - AAARRGHH.  The back problem that kicked off Ye Olde Ab Challenge hit with a vengeance  round about June 30.

I'm pretty discouraged as combo yoga/swimming/ab work is my idea of preventative medicine and I've (with the help of you all) been doing so well - double AAARRGHH!

The good news is I've started up again and hope to finish holding up my end of the challenge.   I'm going to add some restorative Yoga which I will not count as ab workout but will perhaps help.

Regards to all you true blues here!!

Ah crapola annie! i am really sorry to hear that! I hope it is not too serious. I think we'll keep you on the team since you were the original AB'er and it will be good for you to keep mobile. Take care of yourself, have a good weekend and make a stiff drink for your stiff back!
