Ate some Rye toast with Peanutbutter when I woke up at 7:30. Went to the race site at 8:45 to register and prepare.
Event warmup:

Short jog and some active stretching.
Run
  • 24m 23s
  • 3.11 miles
  • 07m 50s  min/mile
Comments:

Goal was to break 8:00 per mile, managed that, might have had a bit more in me as my heart rate was a few beats lower than normal. AHR for race was 163 with a max of 180
What would you do differently?:

This was a good race for me given my current fitness.
Post race
Warm down:

Walked around, got a bottle of water, went back to the corner to wait for a friend to come along, jogged with him to the finish.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Injury filled winter that has hampered my current fitness level.

Event comments:

This is a charity race on the RIT campus. Run by students, they do a great job!.
