DUde, I'm still in and yep I think it's just us. I am glad it sounds like a pretty small race. I invited my mom and sister so they can see what I've been talking about all these past months.

By the way, I mapped the run course on Runstoppable to see how the elevation was. And it seems it's quite a bit short of 3 miles-- like somewhere between 2.5 and 2.8 miles. So that's good news because I can run a lot faster if the course is shorter. Every bit helps!

Maybe some of you need a little warmup before Gear West?

I really, really wish I could be there to hang out with you guys.  Unfortunately this is my last week of Saturday classes.  I still have to wait three more weeks for Apple Duathlon and B.T. mock tri.  Best of luck to all participating.  B.T.W. O'm pretty sure Oakdale Du is a Randog race.  If so, the mileages are just guesses.

Weather report appears to be holding at 80% cooperative. I did put a few miles on my tri bike in the rain last week just to see how much fun it is, and I'd rather skip it in the future.

Looks like the park doesn't open until 7:15. I plan on getting there about 7:30 to set everything up and get warmed up. I'll be sporting a sexy bright green Team Javelin kit. Seeya there Autumn & Emily!
