great swim no chop, got a good start. Traffic was kind of crappy in spots, but it wasn't too bad. wasn't tired after. I think I could have wet harder though. went more for comfort.

Comments:

Well the first hour was great. Right on pace at the hour marck and every thing. Then it all fell apart.... My inner thighs started to cramp and just wouldn't stop. Off and on for the whole ride. I went from 22-23mph on my first hour to 16-18 my last 2 hours. SUCKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What would you do differently?:

I'm not sure what happend witht the cramps. My breathing and heart rate were right were I trained for them to be, but my legs just didn't want to work with me, so.... If I find out why then I change it.
Transition 2
  • 05m 46s
Comments:

good , slow. Had to get wood chips off feet, and try not to get them on my socks.
What would you do differently?:

nothing. get better trans spot!!

Comments:

First lap sucked do to the cramps on the bike, so I spent most of it working my legs back to were they needed to be. Really slow lap!! Lap 2 good picked up the pace. Passed a good bit of people. Made good progress. but still not were I wanted to be. lap 3 good started to lose my legs though so walk through a few of the aid stations (2) got second wind about mile 11. good kick, finished strong.
What would you do differently?:

nothing
Post race
Warm down:

walked a bit, stretch

What limited your ability to perform faster:

bad bike other than that good race.

Looks like you pulled it all together well to finish strong! I hope you figure out the problem with your legs.

You finished strong!  That is what counts.  check your nutrition and perhaps some e-caps for the cramping.  Just a thought.  It was hot that day.
