Run
Comments: I paced myself - tried not to go over 152HR all the time. This preserved me for the distance and only around mile 8 I started getting tired, but it was managable - did not walk at all. Took the gel after 1hr, drand all my water gradually - good idea, and Gatorade at the stations. What would you do differently?: More gells, probably another 2. Post race
Warm down: Walk home 2.5 km. What limited your ability to perform faster: Not enough training for this kind of distance and lack of motivation. Event comments: Will do it again, like to run with a lot of people, the distance is a challenge and it is managable. Last updated: 2007-05-26 12:00 AM
