watch gripe! really, a me gripe. totally user error, but its still a pain in the butt. i always hit the 'split' when i meant to hit the 'stop'! thankfully my new watch/hrm has a review function, so i can still get my time. its really annoying. meow meow meow. anyone else do this? or am i alone in my ineptitude?

I have actually hit my split button twice thinking it was the stop button...getting used to a new watch. Gotta love the recall button!!

You are not alone...I call that experience "brain farts"

My trick is to put on my Timex SDM, get my bike out/put running shoes on, hear the alarm saying my HR is below the zone, and cycle/run off. I totally forget to actually start the timer and when I check my watch 30 or so mins later i realise I have no summary at all for my efforts - total bummer!

I've done it so many times......

Me too! My last tri (which was my 2nd), I put my watch on for the run and never started the timer or looked at the time. On top of that, the results weren't posted until Wednesday (from a Sunday race) so I still didn't know my run time!! At least when the results were posted, I was happy with the pace of my run
