Where you left off...nothing gets 'tossed'.  Although it sounds like you had the Gold with the plan support, you can just use the full log features including the tracker with Bronze.

It's important to understand that data doesn't get deleted when a performance membership is up.  The data is all still there, it's just the access to it that gets changed. Renewing with any level re-enables access to all your previous data.
