Subject: RE: Marathon question Thanks for all the input everyone, I really do appreciate it. To give more detail, I am actually doing a 1/2 marathon in early september, which will be my final comfirmation as to whether I can do the full or not. The training plan I am following is out of a running book by the guy who founded the running room. I don't have it with me but it actually doesn't peak higher than about 40-50km/week, with just a steady increase in the LSD run once a week. I just like the challenge of the marathon. Placing well is a whole other story, but just finishing is just motivation to go out and run each day.
bikingbruise I like your story :P And yes, my 16week plan starts last Sunday, although I have been trying to increase my running each month this year so far. I just hope I can keep up with it!
