Run
Comments: The run was great, but I wasn't. I couldn't keep my intended pace. Mile 1 was 9:56, then it started going downhill-mile 2-10:26, mile 3-11:20, mile 4-12smth, mile 5-10:23. I felt like i had no energy-i'm suspecting that a little family drama 2 days prior to that a little to do with that, and i just wasn't feeling my best the morning of the race. It was SO hot...it was around 90, but very humid, so felt much worse. In mile 4, I actually started getting chills, which i knew was not a good sign...even though I drank at every of the 4 water stations. My HR stayed around 170-175 the whole race. I ran 3:1 and reeeeeally looked forward to every walk break LOL yep, i was not in the race mood.. What would you do differently?: Given the circumstances, not much, really. Post race
Warm down: walked around for a bit, then just drove home. A massage would have been great, but the line was too long. What limited your ability to perform faster: not being 100% Event comments: Good little race, nice technical race tank top! Last updated: 2007-06-17 12:00 AM
